DNA Script is a very well funded startup with game-changing technology for genomics. Their Syntax Printer/Synthesizer prints up to 384 same-day, in-lab, ready-to-use oligos using a patented enzymatic ink. It’s a huge process improvement over the current “order-out” model. It enhances productivity (same day oligos), gives scientists full control over the experimental process, and eliminates reliance on external providers (important in biopharma). Compensation is well above average and includes stock options that are already increasing in value. There will be opportunity for advancement as the company continues to grow.
The person will:
- Interface with the product development and applications teams in the use of DNA Script products in applications to meet customer
- Diagnose and resolve product performance problems fielded directly from customers and
- Develop and provide training for customers and staff on company products and novel application
- Resolve customer complaints related to biochemistry, assay or experimental design, software, instruments, or user’s technical skill.
- Work closely with sales in customer engagement activities by providing on site and/or remote scientific consultation to customers in both pre- and post-sale opportunities; guiding discussions, and performing product demonstrations, applications-focused training, and assay optimizations.
- Be responsible for relationship management, understanding customer goals, setting appropriate product and performance expectations.
